Reminiscent of the underground films of the 1960's, Mr. Behrens' films are filled with timelapse cinematography, multiple exposures and film solarization. Relying only minimally on actors or story lines, making the point that these are unnecessary elements, Behrens communicates his themes primarily through using film as a visual medium.
