Reminder:  All assignments must be handed in on time to get credit.  All assignments must be typed.  You can single space assignments, and none are expected to take you more than 30 minutes to do or one page to write (unless otherwise indicated).  My suggestion is to read the assignment and then read the chapters so that the assignment will guide your reading.

 1. Considering the “trait approach” to leadership, what are some of the characteristics you think people look for in leaders in:

2. Describe these styles of leadership:

C. Laissez-faire

3. In the situational approach, place the style (telling, participating, etc.)in the appropriate place in the matrix.

5. In terms of running a meeting, where do you think a group is most likely to get bogged down in off topic discussion (and consequently waste a lot of time)?

6.  When is it a good time not to take on leadership responsibilities?

7.  What do you think is the greatest satisfaction and greatest danger of taking on leadership responsibilities?
