Postman likes to say that every new medium comes with advantages and disadvantages, and they're never evenly distributed.  That is, every new communication environment will favor some people and disfavor others.

Think about e-communication with text (e-mail or IM).  Cite five things that you think are better about e-communicating  compared to face to face communication.  Cite five things you think are worse.
