RANGE DESCRIPTION
The species is found north to southeastern Canada, including the Maritime Provinces, southern Quebec and southern Ontario, and the eastern United States west to north-central Minnesota, eastern Iowa, extreme eastern Kansaa, eastern Oklahoma, and south-central Texas. Detailed distribution of each subspecies below follows Mecham (1967) and Conant & Collins (1991).
