    Kevin Curley cruised to a two minute win in this week's 4.3 mile Roxbury Road Race.  Points leader Lou Denaro finished fifth over-all.  Boston Marathon survivors were littered through the pack, entirely out of the order they finished at Boston. You can find Marathon veterans in 10th, 11th and 19th.

    Russ Prbanic has a nice surprise.  Courtesy of our friends at the Lake Waramaug Ultramarathons run last Sunday, we had a "pre-approved entry" for this October's Marine Corps Marathon, one of the premier Big Marathons in America, and harder than Boston or New York to get into.  Russ was first in line, so he'll be running Marine Corps this fall.  

    Russ will get to feel the same tired legs that Doug Lee, Ed Sandifer and Dan Lynch ran with this week.  Of these, Doug ran his best ever by a comfortable margin, Ed beat his time from last year by 18 minutes, and Dan blew up like a firecracker.  That happens, and he's determined to dress in bright colors and run another marathon before too long.
