    We had planned to run the Jeep Trail this week, but did Judds Bridge Road by mistake.  Longer, but not quite as rugged.  Jeff Sheldon disappeared almost instantly, then it was a battle for the lower places.  Eventually, Reliable Lou Denaro finished second, almost exactly four minutes behind Jeff.

    Marh Shafer had a slightly smaller winning margin among the women.

People    

    Some people are taking it easy before the Vermont City Marathon, coming up on May 25.

    Reliable Lou Denaro and his lovely wife Prasama are taking next week off for a trip to Bermuda.  Lou is changing jobs from Norwalk to Oxfort, and using the break in the action to take a break in the action.  He's risking his perch atop the Prestigious Roxbury Points Race, and some despicable ingrates like the Fossil have threatened to recruit a field of 80 or so next week, just to take advantage of Lou's and Prasama's absences.  Wait and see if that's what happens.
