Hi, my name is Jim Scrimgeour, and I am Professor Emeritus at Western Connecticut State University. During the last 20 years, I have written over a poem/week and have come to understand the importance of working "en plaine aire." I am especially interested in exploring the relationship between landscape and consciousness.
"Nothing goes by luck in composition. It allows of no tricks. The best you can write will be the best you are." -- Thoreau
