Course examines general principles of communication in the context of organizations--including large corporations, small businesses, non-profits, health care and educational settings. Although we will take primarily a systems approach, other means of looking at organizational interaction will be explored. Topics include globalization, ethics, experience of work, relationships in organizations and technology. Critical perspectives of power and ideology will be employed.
